Psycholytic therapy is a form of psychotherapy that uses lower doses of psychedelics, like ketamine, to facilitate deeper insights, emotional breakthroughs, and lasting change. Unlike high-dose psychedelic sessions, psycholytic therapy allows for more active dialogue and emotional processing, making it a powerful tool for therapists working with trauma, anxiety, depression, and personal growth.
Deeper Client Engagement: Create space for clients to explore challenging emotions and memories.
Long-Lasting Impact: Facilitate breakthroughs that extend beyond the session.
Flexible Use: Integrate intranasal ketamine into ongoing therapy without the need for in-office IV or IM administration.
Scalable for Your Practice: Offer a unique, cutting-edge therapy without the need for specialized medical staff.
Professional Collaboration: Receive ongoing support from our medical team for patient safety and dosing adjustments.
Client Evaluation and Medical Clearance:
Clients complete a comprehensive medical evaluation with our PA to ensure ketamine is safe and appropriate for their treatment.
We provide a prescription for low dose intranasal ketamine, tailored to the client’s needs and therapeutic goals.
First Session and Initial Dosing:
Clients receive their first intranasal ketamine dose in our clinic to assess their response in a safe, controlled environment. You are welcome to join your clients for a psychotherapy session at Blossom with the first dose or we can establish medical safety with Ketamine without you being present.
We ensure they tolerate the medication well before authorizing at-home (for virtual therapy) or in-office use.
Ongoing Therapy and Dose Management:
After the initial session, clients can self-administer their ketamine during their regular therapy sessions with you.
Doses fall in the low dose range allowing for lighter, more introspective work.
We provide medical oversight, including follow-up assessments after every third session to adjust dosing, assess safety and give refills.
Safety and Client Responsibility:
Clients are not allowed to drive for at least 6 hours after each session and should have a support person if they are not staying with you for therapy.
Therapists provide feedback on client progress, helping us ensure dosing remains safe and effective.
